Terms &Conditions.

The rules of the road for using the TradeCore SOS network — written plainly, so you know where you stand.

Last reviewed: 15 September 2026

1. These terms

These terms govern your use of the TradeCore SOS website, application and network. By creating an account, submitting a request or applying to become a provider, you agree to them.

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the service. If you are using TradeCore SOS on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business to these terms.

2. What TradeCore SOS is — and what it is not

We are an assistance network, not a party to the job. TradeCore SOS connects people who need trade assistance with independent, verified local providers. The contract for any work carried out is between you and the provider. We are not the provider, we do not carry out the work, and we do not supervise or direct how a provider performs it.

We are not an emergency service. TradeCore SOS must never be used to report or respond to an emergency. For immediate danger, serious injury, fire, crime or any life-threatening situation, call 999. See section 10.

We do not guarantee a match. We work to find suitable local help quickly, but we cannot guarantee that a provider will be available, that a match will be found within any particular time, or that a provider will accept your request. Availability depends on the providers in your area and their current capacity.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate, current information when creating an account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to hold an account. We may suspend or close an account where information is inaccurate or misleading, where these terms are breached, or where we believe the network or its users are at risk.

4. Submitting an SOS request

When you press SOS you are asking the network to find local help for the situation you describe. You agree to describe the situation honestly and accurately, to share only location information needed for matching, and to behave reasonably toward providers who respond.

Sending an SOS request is free. You are not obliged to accept any provider offered to you. There is no charge simply for submitting a request.

5. Providers

Verification. Providers go through a verification process before joining and confirm the details required for their trade or service category. Verification confirms the information a provider has supplied; it is not a guarantee of the quality, safety or outcome of any particular piece of work.

Provider obligations. Providers agree to hold the licences, certifications and insurance required for the work they accept; to carry out work with reasonable skill and care; to keep their availability and service area accurate; and to communicate honestly with customers.

Performance and reputation. Information about completed requests contributes to a provider's response reputation in the network. Providers must not attempt to manipulate this, whether directly or through another person.

6. Plans and payment

TradeCore SOS offers free access and paid subscription plans. Plan features and prices are shown on our Pricing page and may change, with notice given for changes affecting an active subscription.

Where a subscription is taken out, it renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time and retain access to the end of the period you have paid for.

Where payment for work carried out is handled through the platform, the terms presented at the point of payment apply to that transaction. Not all work is arranged through the platform — where you and a provider agree work directly, payment arrangements are between you and the provider.

This website does not itself process any payment.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service. In particular you must not: submit false, misleading or fraudulent requests; use the network to harass, threaten or deceive anyone; attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, systems or data; scrape, copy or resell information from the network; use the service for anything unlawful; or use the service where an emergency response is actually required.

We may suspend an account immediately while we investigate suspected misuse.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Because the work itself is carried out by independent providers, we are not responsible for the acts, omissions, workmanship or conduct of a provider, nor for any loss arising from work they carry out. Responsibility for the work rests with the provider.

We provide the matching service with reasonable skill and care, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular request will result in a match. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with the service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Disputes between customers and providers

If something goes wrong with a job, we encourage you to raise it directly with the provider first. Where a dispute concerns conduct, safety or a pattern of behaviour that affects the network, tell us and we will look into it.

We may provide information about a request to help resolve a disagreement, and we may take action on an account where our terms have been breached. We do not act as an arbitrator or adjudicator and we are not able to order a provider to refund or compensate you.

10. Emergencies

TradeCore SOS is not an emergency service and is not a substitute for one. Never use it to report a fire, a crime, a medical emergency or any situation where there is a risk to life.

If there is immediate danger, serious injury, fire, crime or another life-threatening emergency, call 999.

11. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms to reflect changes in the service or the law. Material changes will be made clear on the site or communicated to you. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

These terms are a plain-English summary of the basis on which the TradeCore SOS network is provided. They are not legal advice.
